You did an amazing job with the treasure map! Thank you for sharing the resource too! The images capture what you were describing in your planning and it is neat to see it all come together. I love the idea of collaborating with the art teacher- that will allow the students to make the art more personal and give them a professional appearance to their project. It is great that you had parents come and help out- even though some may not have been too savvy...it gave the parents a chance to see how you are implementing technology in the classroom.
ReplyDeletetimtim.com is a great resource! I love seeing the images above...it definitely helps me to envision your project. I think that it was awesome that you gave the kids a choice for their art medium- I think having the art teacher pitch in would be a fabulous idea. Another program that is excellent for creating pictures on the computer is Pixie. Check it out :) I have only used it in a Mac school, but I don't think it is limited to just Macs. Great job getting the parents involved as well!
